Subjects relating to suicide and grief

For my Sister

and anyone who needs to hear this

This page is deeply personal.
I created it in memory of my sister, who we lost to suicide - a beautiful, kind soul who was deeply loved.
Grief after suicide is complicated. If you're here because you've experience a loss or because you're struggling with depression yourself, I want you to know that
you're not alone. I see you. And I am sorry you're hurting.

My Story

Losing my sister changed everything. The days after were filled with confusion, heartbreak, and a silence that felt impossible to break. I didn't know how to move forward, it didn't even feel possible to move forward - but eventually, I found myself turning to art.
It didn't fix the pain, but it gave me something: a way to express what I couldn't say, to create something when everything else felt broken. Over time, painting became a quiet kind of healing. It's why I teach now - because I believe art can be a lifeline.

For YOU

There is no "right" way to grieve, and no timeline for healing. Whether your pain is fresh or buried deep, I hope this space reminds you that you matter. That your loss matters. That your life still has beauty to offer.
